‹Tapir› is an interactive table project by Cyrill Studer and Katrin Deubelbeiss. It is running with reacTIVision, a computer-vision framework for table-based tangible interaction, and Processing, a programming language for visual output. By putting the objects on the acryllic glass surface, moving or turning them, the particles in the projection will change their appearance and behavior. ‹Tapir› is a playful way to desgin and interact with your environment.
This project originates from a one-term workshop on the subject ‹Exploring Data Spaces› lectured by Ludwig Zeller at the FHNW HGK Institut Visuelle Kommunikation, Emphasis in New Media.
